Lightberry Lumi is the First and Only American Humanoid Robot Company cleared by the U.S. Government
Lightberry’s Lumi passed a national security review by the U.S. Department of War, earning an exemption from the FCC Covered List that no other humanoid robot has received. In July 2026 the FCC introduced a ban on new foreign-produced robots from being sold in the United States. Lumi is exempt because Lightberry worked with the administration to address the security concerns behind that ban.
