Today, robots are finally stepping off the screen and into our world. They can run, dance, and do backflips. Yet they still feel more I, Robot than WALL•E: machines not characters.

In stories, no one has to explain what technology makes a robot feel alive. In the real world, someone has to build it. That is why Lightberry exists.

Lightberry is a team of artists, animators, and engineers teaching robots to understand our world, express who they are, and act without waiting to be told. We write software, integrate sensors, train new behaviors, and redesign bodies; whatever it takes to turn a machine into an iconic character.

People spent decades dreaming of robots we could live alongside. And today, in San Francisco, Lightberry is bringing robots to life.
